I had a fantastic stay at The Dookit. The house was absolutely spotless when I arrived and check-in was a breeze with the door code lock system. The rooms were spacious and the beds were super comfy. The bathrooms were really nice too. The location was perfect, with only a 5-minute walk to bars and less than 10 minutes to shops. There were plenty of things to do with my family nearby, like hiking and water sports. The staff who looked after the property were also very nice and helpful. I had a great experience at The Dookit and would highly recommend it.

The kitchen was fully equipped, making it easy for us to prepare meals. The beds were incredibly comfortable, guaranteeing a good night's sleep. The location was ideal, just a short walk away from the town center. The Wi-Fi and Netflix availability were a great bonus. The owner, Fiona, did a wonderful job in making sure everything was perfect for our stay. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

The accommodation was beautifully presented and clean. It had all the necessary amenities including a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. the location was convenient, with local amenities and the stunning Cairngorms countryside within easy reach. the hot spa tub in the spa cabin was a delightful treat after a day of hiking.

There were a couple of minor inconveniences during our stay. the front door key card system had battery issues but was quickly resolved.

I especially loved the large rooms and the stunning views of Cairngorm from the top floor. The three full bathrooms were a great bonus, and the top floor room with its en-suite was simply fabulous. The location of the house was perfect, with the village center just a short walk away. I had no trouble parking outside. The kitchen was well-equipped and even had a Nespresso machine with pods provided, which was a delightful addition. The house also had plenty of towels and extra pillows, ensuring a comfortable stay. I was impressed by the attention to detail in the house, including the travel book with local walks and hikes. I was delighted with my stay at The Dookit and would highly recommend it.

Although the mattress in the upper room was a bit too soft for my liking and there were no outside bins in the garden, these were minor drawbacks compared to the overall fantastic experience at The Dookit.

the dookit was everything we needed and more on our long journey. the beautifully presented accommodation was equipped with everything, from pots and pans to a relaxing hot spa tub. the location was perfect, with bars and shops within walking distance and plenty of activities for the family. the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. a truly wonderful experience.
